TRADITION ALMOST A CENTURY LONG

         The tradition of terracotta handicrafts in „Djordjevich“ workshop is over eighty years old. Applicable, garden’s and decorative authentic products made of clay are formed and baked in a traditinal way.

         In the beginning organize as a workshop for terracota handicrafts made for local population, use in homes, workshop „Djordjevich“ expand his manage and a circle of clients. With an expanding interest for ethno-roots of serbian tradition, interest for pottery made of natural materials and in a tradition way also increase.

         The „Djordjevich“ workshop found his place also in interior arrangements. Cooperation was made with a large numbers of hotels, business offices and national restaurants, who equip his interiors and kitchens with a „Djordjevich“ pottery. With a special pleasure to emphasize very successful cooperation with the „Pietro Di Oro“ restaurant, owned by our famous football representative Dejan Stankovich.

         The „Djordjevich“ pottery work also for movie and TV production. They emphasize a cooperation on scenography arrangements for a lot of domestic and foreign movies and series. To mention just a few: „The battle on Kosovo“, „Banovich Strahinja“ and „Caravadio“. On TV productions we can emphasize series „Vuk Karadzich“ and „Quo Vadis“.

         Specially are emphasize cooperation with well-known movie director Emir Kusturica on realisation some of his movies.

         The “Djordjevich” pottery continue with development of his production program and stay open for new forms of cooperations.
